These are my magnets for the January swap partners. I really enjoyed making them.

We are having a lot of fun at the Polymer Clay Adventure 2016! Besides amazing classes, we have many interesting discussions and wisdom sharing on the forum, monthly challenges with cool prizes, and monthly swaps.
These magnets/beads I’ve got from my partners recently. They are so different and so cool! Amazing work! Love them all! Thank you so much Lori, Gayle, and Marlene!

My Necklace is Published in PolymerCAFÉ magazine

I am so excited that my work has been published in ‘Polymer CAFE’ magazine. (September-October 2015).
In early spring I participated in a Polymer Clay Challenge ‘Two Colors’ and made a necklace ‘Black Pearl’.

My inspiration was a moment when a couple of black glass beads were caught in silk folds while I was looking for another silk scarf to paint. The contrast between black and white caught my eye, and I imagined how elegant it would look and challenged myself to create those silk waves in polymer clay.
I had so much fun 🙂

The necklace is sold. Thank you, Patricia!

It’s Been a Busy Summer!

This summer has been anything but quiet for me! So what has been going on?
Besides a lot of personal things, I’ve been working on two huge and very exciting projects. 🙂 I am dying to share it with you but I can’t reveal the details yet!
Join my list to learn more in a couple of weeks.

Also, I’ve spent hundreds of hours creating new jewelry pieces for my ‘Romantic ‘ Collection: a lot of petals, flowers, leaves were sculpted, cured, and then assembled in beautiful arrangements.

Now I’m getting ready for the local Art&Craft Show: several projects are in progress and more ideas, I hope, will come alive during the next two months.
I’ve already made a new table stand for jewelry display, created a video of this process, and I’m going to share it with you next week.

Snow Day

What a wonderful day today! Lot of snow – love, love, love it! I grew up in Russia and having four seasons is a ‘must have’ thing for me 🙂 Had a walk to the nearest park and took some pictures.

When I returned to the studio I started working with clay in Mokume Gane technique, and these frosty beads came out of the oven by the end of the day. Oh, the flowers were baked earlier, just took the picture of all beads that needed to be put together in necklaces.
