I’ve been getting ready for the Easter with new craft projects. I’ve made these egg candles myself and then painted them in point-to-point technique. They are small gifts for my friends. Oh, I have not forgotten about greeting cards as well.

The greeting cards are made with a shimmer cardstock and quilling paper. Creating all those flowers took some time; however, I love the result – these 3D cards I will give in person as they are too thick for the regular envelopes.

I was just curious about quilling when I bought a Beginner Quilling Kit and I love it.  It came with everything I needed: a circle template board, fine-tip tweezer, needle & slotted quilling tools, quilling paper (over 150 strips in 15 different colors), glue straight pins, step-by-step instructions and layout ideas.
I bought this kit with a 40% off promotion and it was well worth the price.

Here is a supply list, in case you would like to try this amazing craft. Click products below for more info.

While I was working with wax, I took some pictures, so there might be a ‘how to’ post in the near future.
